Our bathroom tub was peeling from a previous refinish job that wasn't done correctly. Also we had holes in the tile from where we had removed an old glass shower door. Doug sanded and prepped everything perfectly and then made it look beautiful. We painted the room and added new chrome hardware and it looked better than new.

Doug of Diamond Glaze made our 1941 cast-iron tub shine like new again. After 68 years of use, our tub either needed resurfacing or replacing. We called Doug and asked him to do the resurfacing work for us. It turned out very nice and it now shines like a diamond. Prior to starting the work Doug suggested he could also resurface the wall tile above the tub so that the yellowed tile would match the tile. We agreed, and now both the tub and tile are shining like new again.
Doug is easy to work with and the entire process took two half days. Day one was preparation, and day two consisted of installing a new chrome drain, tub overflow, spraying the Diamond Glaze product on, and finally clean up. Doug took care to protect the rest of the bathroom from over spray, and his ventilator kept his fumes outdoors. The project went great, and I would recommend Diamond Glaze and Doug's company to anyone considering a resurfacing project similiar to ours.

I hired Diamond Glaze to reglaze the original, 60 yr old porcelain bathtub in my home. The tub was badly stained and had groves in it, making it virtually impossible for me to ever make the tub look clean, no matter how hard I scrubbed.

I highly recommend Diamond Glaze Company. Doug, the owner, repaired and then resurfaced my tired old blue bathtub. The first day, he repaired the rust holes and resurfaced the tub. The second day, he caulked the tub and installed an overflow washer and a new drain spout. My tub is now a sparkling white, and I am very happy with his work!
Doug fastidiously taped around the tub so the tile and flooring were protected from the new glaze. He used a high-powered ventilating machine to rid the house of the fumes. When he left the house each day, the bathroom was spotless! He went above and beyond the call of duty when he went into the crawlspace of my house to tighten the drain pipe underneath my tub.
Doug was professional, courteous, and a great conversationalist! I appreciate his timeliness, work ethic, and trustworthiness. I will call upon him again when I am ready to upgrade the rest of the bathroom.

I purchased my house 9 years ago. The tub in one of my bathrooms had been reglazed at some point in the past and was badly peeling. I hired Diamond Glaze to strip and reglaze the tub and Doug did a fantastic job. After 9 years, my tub started peeling -- this was due to natural wear and tear but I also inadvertently helped it along a bit. I looked Doug up and he came out and reglazed the tub and did an absolutely beautiful job with it. Not only does it look pristine and better than any new tub, but he added in a permanent bath mat to the bottom. Our enameled kitchen sink from the late 1940's was looking scarred and chipped. The pitted sides and bottom were grey and discolored, no longer able to be cleaned up. In short, our double sink with the laundry-sized faucet that allowed us hardly any space to wash larger pots, pans, and bowls was looking pretty drab and used. After Doug and his plumber Gus finished their work, we had a beautiful white sink with no signs of chips or pitted areas. The shiny new drains and faucet have brought us into the 21st century! interview and questions evaluating the job (I knew you could do the job from that point!).
Thanks also for taking extra care keeping everything neat, and being careful to protect the wallpaper, floor tile, and the complete bathroom.
The finish on the tub came out perfect, and the color, as you suggested, brought out the best for the tub and complete bathroom!
After you completed the job and left, my bathroom was cleaner that when you arrived! Even though we had thoroughly cleaned before you arrived!

I'd like to share my testimony with others about the beautfiul refinishing job you did on my kitchen sink. It was over 55 years old. I kept looking at my sink day after day, so unhappy. I am always in the kitchen and love to cook. I used to scrub and scrub and bleach my sink overnite almost every day. When I would cook, rinse out my pans or coffee pot, the stains were incredibly ugly. I was always embarrassed about it. I hated my sink. Then my husband placed 3 calls. Doug, you were the only contractor that called back that same morning. By 5PM the next day I had this amazing beautiful sink that shined and glowed. It was simply amazing. I looked at your work in the book you brought over but nothing compared to the outstanding job you transformed my sink into. This has made me the happiest homemaker ever to live with. Also, Doug you were very neat about everything. I had nothing to clean up after you left. I can't thank you enough for making me so happy. What a great job you did on our tub. I had a chip and leak problem in a second bathroom that I had neglected over the years, which led to several rust holes in the bathtub near the drain. In contacting another glazer, their receptionist simply talked about glazing over the holes. When I called your company, you were the one that returned my call, not a salesman or receptionist. You asked enough questions to assure me that you knew what needed to be done. I didn’t have to worry about someone showing up with an over-the-phone quote and then adding costs for what “really” needed to be done. You kept to your appointments and didn’t shorten your time or methods. You didn’t simply patch the holes, but repaired and reglazed the tub in a manner that I am confident will last for years to come. After installing new chrome hardware for me and recaulking the entire tub, it looks brand new! Through all this, you were extremely courteous, professional and friendly. You made sure I understood the contract and costs before signing. And you came back for one final inspection underneath the house just to make sure the drain attachments didn’t leak. You were genuinely concerned that there wouldn’t be another hidden problem to again discover in a few years. Thank you!
